Oh dear. Had to scale everything back. Never mind. Come and see the Chalk Garden though, it's very, very, good.
27.8.6. Version 4.01
Didn't realise I could make such a difference in a few days. Should be ready to go live on Tuesday. Have added three out of the five minisites - the Farndale one is particularly good. Have also added a page for No Holds Bard to link to Shakespeare Central although there aren't any plays either side of it. Secret Rapture Redux is still incomplete.
The best thing I have done really is the PhotoStream. It's not fully integrated into the site but works great. It's freeware so we're sorted. I've also added the recent page because it was irritating being missing. The only gaps now, apart from the very obvious ones in the productions section, are:
- The Future productions page: makes sense not to do it until Wizard.
- The History page. Obviously. We're not there yet.
- The News page. It will take some time to think about how best to use it. Perhaps after a committee meeting.
And apart from some bad links and perhaps some odd-looking bits of text left over from templates, we're about there.
24.8.6. Version 4.0
I could list all the changes but pretty much the whole site is new, although not complete.
As far as I know current technical issues to be corrected include left-hand sidebar navigation not highlighting current page, some pages News page link incorrectly assigned (although the page itself is not live yet) and a number of images' alt tags incorrectly labelled. Also the title tags are all set to HPSite.Productions at the moment. Oops.
Missing pages include Future Productions (to be added during Wizard), the History page and a page of general society information, although the Getting Involved page is there, albeit with a direct lift from the version 3 site.
There are a few productions up, and the top and tail of the complete listing but most of the production pages are missing, with no placeholders, at the moment. The Recent page is also missing.
The Committee page is awaiting a photograph of us all, there'll be more on the Wizard page soon of course, and The Window needs to go live on the homepage. Plus lots of little bits. EDIT: In fact, decided to do more work before going live.

The blog has gone live, and I think it's rather fab. Whether anyone will say hi is another matter. Still, it's a good way of doing quick updates via iWeb, especially with photos. EDIT: It is still password protected at this point.
